This coin was consigned to a local dealer and I purchased it this past Saturday. I was delighted to receive an email from him later that day with a link to these images of the coin.

What do you think it grades? Do you think the toning adds a premium?

MS64 IMO, I love the colour! It definitely adds a premium especially because of how even it is, but how much would depend on the collector

Solid MS63 but probably a 64 with all the eye appeal. Premium depends on the collector field it's shown in. With none or little premium it will be the first one off the shelf. nlp

I agree with solid 63 and a shot at 64. Lovely toning! It could/should add a small premium but how much depends on what someone is willing to pay. I see a strong neck clash on the reverse but no sign of a wing clash line on the obverse or any sign of an N clash. Is this just not apparent in the photo?

dave700x, I do not remember. I did check for the O/O and doubled ear, I do not believe it had either, or I would have noted it. The coin is, unfortunately, already in my SDB. I will try to get there tomorrow and take another look, since I already have a few things I need to pull out of the box.

This coin is actually a Paramount holdered coin, I forgot to mention that.

That explains the toning. Definitely a premium for an original Paramount slab. (even more for Redfields)

Unfortunately, it's not a Redfield. If it was, I would be on cloud nine considering what I paid.

MS64. Nice coin. "Nicely" toned coins go for a premium on ebay all day long.

I think the coin grades MS-63 but could get a bump up to 64 for the beautiful toning.

solid MS63 bumped up a point to MS64 for exceptional eye appeal.

Exceptional eye appeal. MS-64, maybe 63. Very nice Morgan dollar. Great find.
