Search of the suspects vehicle revealed multiple identification cards, business and pamphlets from different coin shops and an additional 250 fake gold bars and coins. Omg, I'm pretty sure I know where and when that happened haha. I was at the coin shop a mile from my home and the owner of the shop was filing out a police report talking about someone selling fakes haha. I was in buying transportation tokens and the guy had came in earlier that day. There is only one real coin shop in Greenwood so it had to be then.

There is something fishy about this news release though. There is no story link source for the article. I tried to look it up in my local newspaper and nothing. If they were arrested by greenwood police department they should had shown up.

I plan on going to that shop Friday I will ask them about it.

The stories get emailed to me directly from Doug Davis who is a retired 30 year LEO. They are also written by him. Right now he is the City Manager in Pantego, Texas. Before he retired from Law Enforcement he was the Chief of Police there.

He now dedicates his spare time to numismatic crime. When he sent this story to me, they literally could have been arrested 5 minutes ago.

Ok, I just saw the story posted a lot and no local news about it which weirds me out. It just want to know all the facts of the situation.

It agree it had to be the coin index on Madison Avenue. Great store and selection but the prices are usually a few dollars more on low price items than other reputable coin shops around here. That and then they don't build tax prices into their items so you get the double hammer. I could literally get a junk silver dime almost a dollar cheaper at most other stores.
