Well this my second MS V-1a This 1 of the only 3 PCGS graded MS-63 VAM-1a coins. This one is the VAM-1a1, 1 of the other MS-63 coins is a VAM-1a4. So now I just have to find the other MS-63 too find out what sub type it is.

My VAM-1a type set now looks like this.
V-1a1 MS-63 Top Pop
V-1a2 AU-58 Top Pop
V-1a3 AU-55 Top Pop
V-1a4 MS-63 Top Pop
In the SSDC, the odds are the other 63 is a V-1a1 or 1a4 but I can hope. The total MS graded V-1a's is 6 total coins so 1 more and I hold 50% of the pop until then I will have to settle with 33.3%

Russ, you've cornered the market on this one. Congrats!

How will this ever fit in your collection without a sequential serial number?

I am working to put an eye on the other 4 Unc coins in the VAM to see what stage or die state they are. I would love to ID one of them as a V-1a3 but I think that's a pipe dream. There is an earlier die state where the gouge below the "R" in TRUST is not present. I have that in AU-55 I would call it an EDS of the VAM-1a1. They are not any rarer then the normal V-1a1 from what I have seen.
