They've created a new format for selecting the production figures. It works, but the results are missing items that used to come up on the old search. Seems to only affect items that are sold out.
Yeah I called them about the old data that was easy to be found being broken or missing earlier this week, and they said they didnt need to provide that info to the public.... things like number of reeds, cost to make each coin, metal composition...which coins the mint ever maid and are authorized to make....
I think the mint website is just turning into a storefront website, which is terrible! I never got the call back from a super, so probably going to call Dept Treas next week to complain about it also. I mean they cannot aford to house this whooping 20k worth of text data on the site for all that info for people that want, and have the right to know?
something fishy because the mint isn't jsut a souvenier shop for coin collectors, and needs more than jsut a store for the newest or upcoming collectors items. Guess the mint missed the death of the baseball card shop and how people like to be able to do thing which is where the card game shop came about, so that extra info and number to play with like those cards probably gave them a lot more hits than they think or know about. But hey, "Obama-care" (whatever the actual name of it is) was done by some Canadian company, and I wouldn't doubt the same could be said for the mint website.. people that really don't care making a website. Or worse, the website was designed by the people that actually design our current coins!
