If your coins are OBW rolls, and they all came from the same batch (Bag) then there might be several.

If they wrappers were purchased separately and have different writing on the rolls, they may not be from the same run.

IE: you go to the bank and get a box of cents. They are all the current year and all look to be the same year. They could possibly have all came from the same run. So I would open two rolls of that batch. I could get an idea of what could be in the other 48 rolls from the two rolls I opened because they would probably all struck from the same dies. But there could possibly be error coins. (One of a kind errors) There might be clashed die examples, Type 2 planchets (unstruck) slight off centers (MAD or broadstruck) still in the rolls. You could have EDS coins that you might want to save as they look so sweet. But the first two rolls would give you an idea of what is in there. I usually divide them in to stacks of die pairs. Sometimes you will find from 4-20 different die pairs in a roll. (Indicates how many runs of machines were used to make that bin of coins. Sometimes you hit a batch that has many varieties in them, then most of the time you find nothing exciting. when I find these, I put them back for sale in the future to roll collectors who want a roll from each year/mint. So let us know what you find.
