Several years ago (20 or so), my grandparents gave me a pack of $2 bills (perhaps $10 total) that I remember being perforated on the left hand side. As a kid, I pulled them out and spent them, however I've been now wondering what that was and what it would be worth now if I had it.

Anyone know what this was? Or...am I making any sense?

Was it something like this? http://texasscratchpad.com/
I remember my grandparents had a 50th anniversary and there were these on a type of metal tree... called it a money tree. They were stapled into the pad back then - mid 1970's. I think they have adhesive on them now, like a post it note type of adhesive.

Yeah, something made aftermarket and no added value. Still fun though :)

You can get these at the bank in Alva OK. The outside cardboard is blank. I buy them to give as gifts. Kind of neat watching people's faces when you open the book and rip out a bill to give to them. Got them in ones.and twos.
