So the liberty has to be clear in the large date, And should look less sharp on the small date? I thought it was the date that mattered more. Is it possible to have a small date with the clear LIBERTY that looks like a large date?

Thank you all for thehelp and great images for comparison. It seems I was very lucky after closer magnification it would seem I now have a1970 S Large date and a Small date. I know its not worth much but I like the fact .that I came across them while roll searching. Its cool to have... Thanks again for all the help.

The 1970-S small dates are a premium coin. The 1970-S large dates are common.
