You won't find it easy even with VF or better coins I often recommend that people start out getting practice attributing on the easier middle dates first and then ease into the late dates as you become more adept at being able to notice the small differences.

Celtic, there are also two copies of The Cent Book available on abebooks right now. $100 with free shipping and $100 with $3.75 shipping Both are signed, second is a library copy.

I also have Red Henry's excellent Middle Date finder PDF if anyone would like a copy, PM me and I can set up a way for you to get a copy. It is a really good quick start guide to attributing those middle dates.

Thanks, I pm'd you

OK, thanks. Yes, I sense the better way to go is exactly that. The middle dates are more attractive to me at the moment just for that reason.

There's a leatherbound, deluxe printing of the Noyes 1816-57 set of books on AbeBooks right now for $1100 for those of you who will spare no expense for your library.

O.k. Ed I changed that, I had no idea I had it set up that way. It may take a day or two to get that straightened out.
