Just to keep this thread alive and moving...here is a 3 Groschen from Livonia dated 1598. Attribution is Kopicki 8194.

perfect timing @o-train! Here is my 3 groshen from 1597 also minted in Poland (Olkusz mint). The obv inscription is SIG III DG R POLON MDL and the rev inscription is III GROS ARG TR R POLONI 97. The attribution is Kopicki 1055.

I'm glad to see this thread unstuck, if only for one year. Here's a 1596 Poland 3 grosz (groschen) coin:   Nothing more from me until 1593 (I think). Let's hope the thread doesn't get stuck at 1595 or 1594.
