The British India coinage is certainly a favorite. This is from the Bombay Mint, indicated by the dot below the British rose at the base of the reverse.
I would grade it a toned XF, the crown beads and hairlines are still separate, but the gouges on the face are going to reduce that a great deal. UNC examples of these are common, around $10 or less, so this is worth the melt value and not much more.
VF20 max...I don't see it scoring XF with the damage it has, & honestly I think the toning hurts appearance and would look much better if dipped...just MO... ut still a very nice, well detailed piece!
