Post Your Favorite Coins Of 2014!

As I was replying to another post I got to thinking about my collecting from the past year (2014) and I thought it would be interesting to see what the favorite coins of 2014 are for CCF members. At this point in my collecting life, I'm focused on modern coins from the US Mint so that's what my list is. I know that many of you are classic and ancient coin buffs and may not collect the modern stuff but I would like to think that a decent amount of people would have an opinion on the releases of 2014 or have examples floating around in your pocket change that you could comment on.

Without further ado, my favorites from 2014 (apologies for the Luddite coin photography skills):

#2: 50th Anniversary Silver Kennedy Reverse Proof

#1: 50th Anniversary Gold Kennedy half dollar (dated 1964-2014)


I was going to put the mew Canadian Bison 1&1/4 oz $8 bullion coin on my list... but then I saw it is year 2015. Oh well, it'll be in next year's list!

So, please post your top 5 2014 favorites! And don't worry if you can't limit it to just 5 or can't even come up with 5. You don't have to own them and it doesn't have to be United States, in fact, it would be great to see fine examples from other countries from 2014. Coins meant for circulation are certainly welcome too.
