I purchased this piece from a Lepczyk Auction many years ago, where it was described as a contemporary counterfeit. It looks awfully close to a genuine. I have seen a picture of a similar piece in "Forgotten Coins of North America" and was wondering if anyone knows more about it. It is 28m.m. and weighs 9.2 grams.

Looks like a genuine UK 1/2D.
If not it is the best non regal I have seen.
