What grade would you give this coin?

I'm tough on my coins, I guess. I give it a VF-XF. There is more than a little detail loss on the reverse, the lion is flattening out quite a bit.

Still a nice coin.

I really like the Wilhelmina coins of 1892 - 1948. The royal arms design of the reverse and the progression of Wilhelmina's image through the years make them a great series to collect.

The lion and, to some degree, the hair on the opposite side often appear weakly struck on these coins. But, there is definitely some wear. From what I can see in the photos I would say AU50.

I assume the broken luster is only around the legend / lettering.

Like PatAR mentioned the hair on the bust is often weakly struck.
