A very nice, clean coin, D.G. Thanks for sharing it. I don't know if I should clean my coin any more than it is, (when it arrives)?

I can count 14 'rulers' who used the Obv. (or similar) and (at least) three of those are female.
Four if you count Elagabalus. (Lol.)

I would like someone to have a go at naming the person on my coin, though. Any takers?

With the barely visible part of the obverse legend, it can only be Caracalla (probably) or Elagabalus (outside chance).

When it arrives I will give it a long soak in D.W. and a light brush with a 'firm' toothbrush (bristles cut down) and see if I can get any more out of the legend on the Obv.

Ron. I also purchased a Macrinus at the same time that I am really pleased about. I will put that up when it arrives.
