Well, how many of the competition have one like that in the 1914-D hole of their 7100's?

I don't know what kind of album you use Dave, but I've never encountered a Dansco with oval holes before!

If I look closely, I see a 1914. Also, this fair happened in 1933 (as stamped on the picture side), making this kind of hard to make with a 1944 cent.

Should fit if you rotate it 45 degrees. Just like hollowing out a hole for a pre-collar coin.

I am conflicted. Part of me is disgusted. Another part is thinking like Dave, wondering how many of these are out there. $149 is probably a steal, if this is something that really excites you.

A year or 2 ago I came across an elongated 1885 V nickel from the Columbian Expo for sale on ebay. Not sure what it sold for if it ever did.
