Hi guys. I had a box of all assorted coins and these were in the mix. I have no idea on hammered coins. I looked trough some catalogues but drew a blank. they are 19mm 1.1g. I can see MON.NO then in the ring below numbers 3 and 2 side by side. seperated by what looks like back to back cricket stumps. obviously a monument of some design. other side gas GVSA not sure if that is an S or a symbol there is a center shield with a an army with a dragon above them in the left top quarter in the right hand quarter there is another crude looking dragon . The center has a gent in a robe looking rather puzzled why he is there . Thats about all I can read. I hope that helps as to identify them. There are 3 in total but you probably can get enough info from those. They look a little clearer. Thank you

It is a 1/24 Thaler (= Groschen) from a German State as the 24 on the imperial orb tells you.
The legend on that side is MON.NO.REG.... meaning 'Moneta Nova Regis' (New Money of the Region) unfortunately the rest which would indicate the place is not clear enough.
The 3 on the bottom of the other side indicates that it is equal to 3 Kreuzer. At first look the arms could be Swedish, which would make it a coin from a Swedish possession. But will have to look later, my eyes are strained from the deciphering so far.

I think...
top - Poland 3 Polker 1622
middle and bottom - Elbing (Poland) 1/24 Thaler 1635 and 163x
but maybe wrong...

Elbing seems to be a good call. And yes, the date is visible on top of the orb.
Makes it issue(s) from Elbing under Swedish occupation, the top one under Gustav II Adolph (which explains the GVS.A), the other two under Queen Christina.

Btw. what you think is a little man in the centre of the arms is the symbol of the House of Vasa, have a look in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_o...ms_of_Sweden

You find the types in the Krause 1601-1700 under Elbing in the Poland section. Elbing changed hands quite a few times during it's history.

The value is 3 polker
Centershield is indeed of the Wasa dynasty (sheaf of grain)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Vasa
These coins were made for Sweden and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth
The 2nd is from Sweden (SVE on the right picture)
On coin 1 I can read GUS
The ruler is Gustav I
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gustav_I_of_Sweden
So also from Sweden)
As is the 3th coin (also SVE)
Under the orb you will find the mintmark for the 3 coins
Nice coins
