The top is a 100 Yen from Japan.
The second reminds of France but need to see the other side to make a proper comment.

The Japanese coin is dated Year 53 of the Showa emperor (Hirohito), which converts to AD 1978.

According to Krause, that French 10 Francs Coin design (KM# 964.1) was produced with that design in 1988-1992, 1995-1996, and 2000

Thanks for the help, the information provided led me to find out that the 100 yen is a 1960 coin year 35, about 1/10th oz silver too!

It doesn't help that Japanese coins switched around the order numerals are read. We need a slap-yourself-in-the-head-for-making-such-a-numbskull-mistake smilie. Oh well, this'll do.
