Here's a coin I'm not sure about at all, I've done my research but cannot pin down what it is, there is a crack going across "Liberty", severe bubbling and some white streak that goes across the lower part of the coin. No sign of PMD, I'm wondering if it's a struck through

I have never seen a planchet flaw that looks like this. I'm pretty certain that the "white streak" you're seeing is from something spilled on it.

If this coin is PMD, I mind as well throw away my entire collection and quit collecting

Looks like acid added to the coin to me. But I sent a note to Mike Diamond to see see what he thinks it is.

I agree with all those who've concluded the coin was subjected to a chemical attack.
Error coin writer and researcher.
