Rackster Pillar of the Community United States 4809 Posts	Posted 01/22/2015 10:06 pm I'll give you my quick opinion - 1955D - PMD maybe environmental damage/corrosion 1939 - Maybe a lamination error on the right side of the coin with some PMD at places on the rim 1945 - looks like some staining, perhaps from sitting on an only cloth 1953 - PMD, road rash on reverse design maybe indicates a parking lot coin at some point in it's life. The only possible error coin I see is the 1939 if it is indeed a lamination error. Let's wait for some of the local experts to ring in. Report this Post to the Staff

Looks like coin was stored in a bank bag for some time. (Note the straight lines on the reverse.) Collectable as a Wheat cent. 4. Smashed also with a hammer on a sandy surface.
