top one is Great Britain Half Penny KM# 844

The second one is a 10 Milliemes from Egypt dated AH1357 (on the right) and 1938 (on the left).

Thank-you for the quick replies and info. What is the composition of the Egyptian coin, is it silver? I have no knowledge of foreign coinage, I will probably pass these on to the youngsters in my familly.

According to Krause, the Egyptian coins should be 5.5 grams copper-nickel

The Egyptian coin is copper-nickel.

Thanks again for the info! Medieval I have enough problems with my CND coin collection. Like I said these will get passed on to the kids, maybe they will start collecting.
