Hi, this is my first post and I will start with a question. Does anyone know about a catalog of austrian coins in English? I´m specially interested about 19th century coins, and I´m looking for something more specific and complete than krause o worldcoingallery.

Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

I can't say I've heard of one. I don't think the Krause book on German Coins includes Austria. I think you'll find that most of the Austria-specific books out there will be in German.

Not really my cup of tea (Im more focused on 1933-1945/48 Germany) and I'm not sure how much detail youre looking for, but do you know of http://www.austriancoins.com/ and more precisely http://www.austriancoins.com/coins.html ?

Im not sure if its what you want, but its all Ive got... Maybe if you shoot the Gent who runs the site an email, he can help to (i believe he is an American, so undoubtedly will speak English; or as close to English as American's Speak ;) )

Thank you all for the replies. Zaggy, I knew the link, but I´m afraid I´m looking for something more. I´m going to start to think I´ve to learn German!
