Grade VF20
The "green stuff" is called copper carbonate, basically tarnish. It is caused by copper being exposed to oxygen & elements in the air. Dipping in acetone is a little extreme and is really not necessary as it wont improve the grade, and really isn't that bad...
IF you INSIST on dipping it, I would personally use lemon juice instead of acetone. It will remove the copper carbonate, but is mild enough not to disturb the metal. Once its gone, rinse with distilled water & PAT dry.
Again, this is only if you really want to remove it but I DO NOT recommend cleaning, dipping or altering ANY coin, ever. Dirt is dirt, tarnish is tarnish, dipping is damage, period.
