ms64
Don't understand why you haven't sent it to ICCS before selling.
No one will part with the money it deserves while the coin is in limbo, do you want MS64 money for a possible 65.

I only know it's worth more than I can afford, the strike on that coin is about as good as it gets for Edward.

Looks 64 to me. Although the lustre dropping off in the fields is a potential red flag. Definitely dipped. Probably market acceptable, but at what grade is the question. Definitely worth sending to ICCS or PCGS for grading.

An experienced seller selling a coin like this raw on ebay would definitely indicate that it wouldn't be able to make it into a problem-free TPG holder.

Poker in hand you can clearly see the coin has not been dipped in any way..Its way to brilliant ..The pic is not the best , but I can assure you not dipped or cleaned at all...

It has definitely been dipped, it has that "look". Silver just doesn't stay that fresh white color for 100+ years. Dipped isn't the same as cleaned. There are plenty of dipped coins which are perfectly market acceptable. However, based on these pictures, it looks like the lustre may be impaired somewhat. It wouldn't grade 65, but 64 is attainable. It is still a very nice coin.

If it were my coin, I'd send it to PCGS and have them professionally photograph it before they slab it. Then off to ICCS for a cross grade.

I have to agree with the others. This is a coin that should be graded not sold raw. I think this coin could achieve a 65 on a sunny spring day when everyone is in a good mood and the rim nick and minor lines get overlooked. I would say around 6.5K for Eddy Leaves in a 64 in this market. Who knows for a 65.Not sure about the dip. The picture light is very white so it makes the coin looked washed out, but to me there is visible luster. Try a picture in daylight.

Good Looking 64. You should send it to ICCS. You will get 63 Money on the bay for this.

It's a great looking coin.

It's also absolutely been dipped (not that it's a bad thing).

How can anyone believe a silver coin from 1910 is still brilliant white and not been dipped?

from all the coins I have seen that were dipped the luster was gone and the coins have a greyish tone to them and or a yellowish tone mixed with the grey.
..In hand this one is lusterous to the max , and there is a light toning .... I tried direct light but the pics were to bright.. Waiting for my daughter to come take pics with her cam...... In the meantime its off to ICCS along with several high grade vickies..... Results to come......
