Well I came across this auction with less than a. Minute left and jumped. Hopefully I don't get too hurt!

I don't know, the seller didn't show any reverses on
those coins. the coins shown seem to be low grade average
circs. but hey if that's what you want ;then who am I to
dismiss the lot.

I thought some of the Seated dimes looked pretty good.

That's what I was thinking too. At a cursory glance it appears to be a good buy!

I just realized it is only $$7.10 in face. I think the bottom rows are Half Dimes. I might be taking a bath on this one.

A bath? I don't think so. There has to be at least $200 in numismatic value. Should be a fun lot to search.

I think you did just fine. If you wanted, you could sell them one at a time with some good photos and get more than your money back.

Maybe it's just me, but the two 1835 nickels look more like Bust Dimes.

Either way, I think you did O.K.

I've given this opinion before:
If you have a group of coins such as these study them to sharpen your grading skills.
Pick out the best and the worst (of a type such as this group contains.)
Then the next best and the next worse.
Line them up from lowest condition to highest condition.
Train your eyes to see what is in front of you.
THEN, use your favorite grading guide to assign the grade.

An educational exercise awaits you.
