I found this in my collection of old coins. This is an 1871 10 cent. On the Obverse it looks like it was struck with the reverse of possibly another 1871 10 cent? I see what looks like the outline of a 1 and then a 71. Would this have possibly happened during the minting process or can it occur after?

I would appreciate any opinions or other examples of these types of strikes.

Thanks

vise job or a hammer job. Someone squeezed the reverse of another dime on it. Not an error, but PMD.
