Going to piggyback on this original post.

Just acquired this 1944 50c piece and I'm wondering if I have it ID properly.
Besides the major crack, there are 6 minor cracks.

That is an exact match for the illustration in Zoell's Edition 1, but in the later Zoell editions they seem to have dropped this picture and changed it to a much later die state see FLP445p in Edition 3 . You have very nice condition coin, I wish my examples were that nice, but they match the die state that your coin is at.......
