Major-Burglary-In-Grand-Prairie,-Texas
The following is a release from the Numismatic Crime Information Center

Detectives, along with the Grand Prairie, Texas police department are investigating a burglary involving the loss of a coin collection valued at close to $400,000. The collection consisted of complete and partial sets in various grades from cents to dollars, gold and silver. Below is a partial list.

Half cents 1793-1797, various grades - 1804-1811 various grades 41 pieces
Large Cents 1793-1857 (1793-1814 with Sheldon numbers)
Bust 25cents 1796, 1804-1807, 1818-1838 various grades
Early Bust halves, 1801-1839 various grades with Overton numbers 120 pieces
Large collection of HOBO nickels


The following individuals are persons of interest in this case.

Man that stinks, I hope they get put away for a long, long time somewhere not so nice, if indeed they turn out to be the culprits. Just down the road from me.
