I've had this coin for about four years. Bought it as being Hungarian. Can anyone give me anymore information on this coin? All that I remember is paying $50 for it.

This, I found here: http://www.beastcoins.com/World/Hun.../Hungary.htm

quote:
Hungary, 15 Krajczar, 1675, Kremnitz Mint
. S . A . GE . HV . BO . REX-LEOPOLD . D : G . R . I .
Laureate bust of Leopold I (Hogmouth) right, XV under bust
HVNGARIAE . 16_75 . PATRONA
Nimbate Madonna and child, arms below, K | B across fields
Plain edge
31mm x 32mm, 5.93g
KM 175

Note: Slight bend to coin as these are rolled pieces.

The writing isn't quite the same, but it is a year different than the coin you show above. Whether it's authentic or not, I'll leave to better Numismatists than I.

Thanks for the info ellekitty! Very helpful. I never knew that the bend was from it being rolled. That's going on my little info card.
