I see that the 2014 LESP is finally on the schedule for 3/17/2015 although the price is still TBD. I'm guessing that they are debating whether to drop the price to $135 to match the drop in other silver items like the ASE.

Personally I like the set. It's a nice presentation. I know I can get all the coins for less, but I probably wouldn't get an ASE separately.

Like others, I was none to happy with the 2013 packaging. I thought I was hard on the mint, but I recently spoke with another collector who, instead of sending them to the return center, sent them to Richard Peterson's office.

So, what are your thoughts? Will you be buying this year? Will you be waiting to see what the new packaging is like?

Also, I had another idea. If this new packaging is truly improved, I'd like to repackage my 2013 sets in it, with the correct card of course. What do the TPGs do with the packaging when they slab sets? Do they toss it, or return it with the coins? I wonder if they'd consider selling it.
