Hi everyone. My friend wants to sell these bills. I was thinking about buying them but not not exactly sure what they are or what their value is. Any info would be great. Thanks!

The first is from the USSR.
The next two are German.
The next is from a Slavic country, not sure which one.
The last one is Polish.

The 'Slavic' country is The Ukraine.
(Only because I can read Cyrillic.)

Thanks guys. That definitely helped identify them. The problem is finding a value. One guy on ebay will say it's "rare" and ask $100 for it and then another guy will have the same bill for $1.99 in a 7 day auction.

The Russian and Ukrainian notes each catalog at $20.00/VG and $40.00/VF. The German notes and the Polish note are very common and are only about a dollar a piece in that grade.

If you want to do your friend a good turn, go ahead and buy them, but they are all in the low end of collectible condition, and therefore value.

You would do better to let him sell them to someone else and buy better condition examples.

Small tip to share - I was discussing this with a friend yesterday, he didn't know about this feature.

On ebay on advanced you can search for sold listings and see what was the price that the item sold for. It can help you determine if the item is really rare or not.

Here is the example for 20 mark 1918 -
