Is there such thing as a wavy variety of the '59 dollar? If so, does the 'wave' beside the canoe of this dollar count? Thanks.

Which "wave" are you talking about? There is usually a centralised weakness on high-relief dollars. I have 1969 nickel dollars that you can see thw ghost image of the queen very clearly. I just checked and in fact all three of mine has the ghosting. Four, if you count the one I lost.

I think it's because of Progressive Indirect Design Transfer. Either that or a weak strike.

That is cool. Here's what I was referring to - wavy heated planchett waterlines:

I've never heard of such a thing. And as to the seller's logic, I don't follow how a planchet heated at the Mint can come out wavy (since it is heated before striking to soften the metal).

It's the little bit of "depression" or "sunken ghost image" in the centre that you're seeing, right? If you can't see it, try turning it around in the light and you might be able to see an outline of the queen reversed.

This afternoon I deleted some stuff in my phone and cleared some 30MB. Now it's gone back down to 0 bytes and I haven't even done anything. I managed to free up some storage space:

This is the kind of "wave" you're thinking about, right? If it is, then it's just PIDT. I have many years that look like this.

Slur- the wavy heated planchet smelled bad. Which on ebay usually means someone pays money for it. sorry to hear about the erasure of info. You should be comforted to know that somewhere in the world someone didn't back up their phone lost all their information which has been found by a member of ISIS.

I mean I deleted junk. Then the junk came back. Very annoying when I've got a good shot on a coin, then screen suddenly goes black with a window saying "Storage full. Go delete something even though I know I still have over 3MB empty because I am trolling you."
