Hi,

This seems to be a Edward III half penny but I don't have a good reference for it - would anyone have one?

Thanks

Had a look into my old (1984) copy of the 'Coins of England' and from what I can see, it would have to be an earlier issue if it is a halfpenny (all the ones from Edward III have 'EDWARDVS' spelt out in the legend.
What size/weight is it?

It's 16mm 0.3g

Thanks

The weight and size make me think halfpenny - but the legends seem to be more attributable to a penny. It's not my area at all.

Halfpennies with this legend would appear to have been struck between 1280 and 1299. Have you seen this reference?
I'm thinking Class 3c-e.
