looks like someone bashed it or tried side cutters on it, but somethings not right. upon seeing the last picture here, I checked with my thumbnail to see if in fact that little bit of the edge was raised. to my surprise a gap appeared. well my first split planchet, and most of the stuff wrong with this coin appears to be because some of the metal fell off prior to striking.

Pretty cool. Does the split go halfway around the rim? In the picture of the obverse it looks like it goes from the top of the queen to the bottom of the bust.

i was going to check that but I ended up 2x2ing it before I got the chance. it does go quite a way around...id say about halfway?

Definitely hang on to it thats the kind of coin I would like to see in hand, is it from a BU roll?
I only ask cause there might be a few things going on with it, pics are to blurry.
Take lots of pics then keep the best delete the rest, before 2x2n it.

its from one of those $25 bags you fill to the line that they had around the time they started pulling cents. I will try to get better pics.
