It's that seller again. He's making up non-existent varieties and he also puts his own "variety code" on them to make them look more legit (it's not). In another thread he's selling 1936 coins given a sticker with the writing "dot". There's no dot. Stay away, his stuff are overpriced too.

exactly, I think he's trying to catch people sleeping and praying on ignorance for financial gain, NOT COOL at all!

A couple of them are even PMD. Is he breaking any ebay rules by doing that, advertising something as one thing while it's clearly the other, or giving his own code for something? Sorry for my ignorance but I don't use ebay. Anyway, since I happen to like these two smilies I'm going to put them here for no reason:   |

I'm not sure how the bay rules are applied, I don't do the bay either, perhaps someone else will offer a suggestion. I have a hard time seeing listings like this, it's down right theft manipulation greed deceit etc etc. Not cool for the coin collecting arena and reputation and the unaware buyers of such.

papeldog: more popcorn?  Seriously, I think people who intentionally do fraud should pay back ten times of what they got paid by the buyer. Fraud again? Make it twenty. Then thirty. And so on. Don't want to or can't pay back? Stupid deaths, stupid deaths, they're funny cos they're true... (Okay, that last sentence was stolen from Horrible Histories) |

I agree there should be some kind of penalty from ebay as well as the police as it really is stealing off someone  |

I think that most people on this and other sites are familiar with Dean. I think that the dots have gone to his head with some of this recent stuff, however.

If ebay faced some sort of penalty then you would see things change but probably not till then or until some kind of major lawsuit happens. No idea who this is....unless...hmmm you mean 'Dotty' who's forum name starts with a Bell... Quote:
