I have obtained this double denomination Canadian Coin. It is a 1968 Nickle on the one side and the back is a 1968 Penny.
Like my name says I am not a collector and I am really just looking to place a value for the purpose of resale.

Thanks

It appears this coin has been sandwiched between two other coins hard enough to transfer the images, either by hammer or vice. This was not done at the mint. It's worth.....5 cents!

Here is what your coin would look like if it was truly a double denomination 1 cent over 5 cent.

This coin (and image) belongs to the site moderator SPP so I hope I don't get into hot water for posting it :)

...and welcome!

Not at all... after all, I placed those errors on a public site (PCGS Collectors Showcase)... glad to see someone else other than me is looking at them!!

Hm kinda tempting to try ;). How exactly do you do this? Secure the coins in a vase then hammer it really hard once?

It is from here: http://www.pcgs.com/Cert/27785695/

It is not mine - I don't collect 5-cent errors... but I do sell them
