Long time readers of this forum will recall my collecting efforts to initially complete the entire 50-coin classic silver type set in PCGS certified MS state. The coin that 'sealed the deal' on the completed type set was an outstanding PCGS MS66/CAC Cincinnati ... discussed here at the CCF in April 2012: https://goccf.com/t/115436Quoting myself below from the linked thread ... the thoughts about evolution as a collector still resonate with me ... as I suspect many of you adjust your collecting goals appropriately with acquisition of knowledge and understanding of you own evolving personal collecting interest. My words in April 2012 ... My self-learning was more organic, and evolved over time as I learned about the coins and what appealed to my eye. A consequence of that nature of growth is that I have nine upgrades that I wish to make to the set ... so you'll continue to hear from me as I search for the needed coins.Pleased to report that many of those needed upgrades have been secured ... and that I have finally met what I set as a significant objective for the set ... all 50 type coins in PCGS MS/CAC holders. The final PCGS MS/CAC coin ... forgive the horrible digital photos. 1928 Hawaiian Sesquicentennial Half Dollar - PCGS MS65/CAC Truly blast white and lovely ... My hope for all of you is that you continue to enjoy this tremendous hobby with growth, knowledge acquisition and evolution as collectors of these tremendous coins. BTW ... my MS set has long been on the PCGS Registry ... anyone can find it and I am way too humble to post a link ... but all the horrible David photographs are there of the set. Best David

David, since I have very limited experience trolling the Registries, may I ask as a personal favor if you would post the link to your set for my benefit?
Thanks in advance,
Ed

Congratulations! Wonderful Hawaiian! A fantastic way to complete a tremendous set - one that any collector of classic US commemoratives would be proud to own! I've enjoyed viewing and reading your posts about the additions you've made to your set since the day I joined CCF. You've made great contributions to this area of the forum - I hope they continue! Thanks for the opportunity to view and enjoy a simply wonderful set! PS: You are too humble regarding your images - they are great!

In addition to Dave's high grade 50 piece set he has a complete lowball set to go along with it. The only one in the registry with such an animal. Don't knock your pictures. I wish I could take them that "bad".
