Anyone have a web site that covers price and issue quailties? Paid 300 for all.

This is a site I use http://www.uspapermoney.info/general/uncut.html don't think it has what you're asking but I'll share it.

Someone more experienced in uncut sheets might have a better answer.

As far as I know there is no reliable price guide for sheets. We sheet collectors are kinda in a "zone" and are on our own.

Your best bet is to view prices realized on ebay to get an idea of what similiar items have sold for. You can also search the Heritage Auctions web site.

You paid $300 for $256 in face value. The going rate around here is 20% over face for "common" sheets so you paid pretty close to that. (Most local dealers around here only pay a few bucks over face when they come through the door)

The '76 $2 star sheets are the ones that being a premium. I believe there is also a 1981 $1 sheet that has a mismatch error on it.

My rule of thumb is if I like it, and the price is right, I buy it. After all the most you can lose is what you paid over face value.
