Price: $29.95 Mintage: 15000 Weight: 7.96g Start Ship: March 20, 2015
I like it.. but it is a bit small. Is it the same size as $20 for $20?

Yes it's the same size (27MM) as the 20 for 20s.
Compared to the 25 for 25 flag which is specimen and 225k mintage, this one seems like a no-brainer.
The image is a little cartoonish, and the details are not there on the map, but it comes in clamshell with a unique graphic beauty box. I think this one is a quick sell-out.

Looks like the centre of Canada has shifted west. Just looks a bit strange. 1/4 ounce for $29.95 Mintage 15,000. May be a fast seller, nice gift for a visitor.

Placed my order. It's not often that a commemorative coin becomes available to order on the actual anniversary date (15 February) of the event being commemorated - the first official raising of the Canadian flag in 1965! I appreciate the forethought the RCM showed by releasing it on the actual anniversary date even though it was Sunday. It's not the RCM's best 2015 "flag" coin IMO, but I appreciated the "date match" enough to purchase the coin as a companion to my 2015 silver dollars. At less than $30, it makes for an inexpensive but interesting "story" coin.

I agree Silverdon... looks a bit 'left of centre' to me too. I did order one though. Now, for all those 20/4/20 nay-sayers. What would you prefer? A $25 coin that cost $25 and has 1/4 ounce of silver..... or A $3 coin that has a 1/4 ounce of silver, but cost $29.95.
These are essentially the same coins - the only difference being the mintages, and presentation - and of course the face value.

The question here, what do you get and what for, spending $30.
Guest? Maybe..but how many guests do we have, didn't you already overload you friends / guests with the gifts-coins?
Personal collection? Nice for people who stick to this theme. Otherwise another low cost item in the collection. It looks like bit 'souvenirish' What is exceptional here? Low mintage - no Proof, but coloured Details - nothing
It's me only, but cause have no idea, why exactly do I need it - tough to me press "order" button.
Btw, for collectors who already ordered "25for25" and Canada Flag Silver Dollar - do you order this also?

I see it appears as 7.500
Makes this item more appealing :)

With a mint age of 7,500, I'd probably get 2 but at 15,000, I'm going to pass. I also got the email stating mintage is 7,500.

I might have to buy a few of these even those the mintage is a bit high , but the coin could do well since more can afford/want to buy them.

Quote: Ya plus its a "Proof" coin, thats a good price for a proof silver coin . you will see only the "mirror" surface of proof - the frosting will be covered by paint. It might hold the value...already 3-rd coin with flag. Wish it'll really do well. Just pay attention - people more concentrate on $200+ "non real" Star Trek coin set, rather than real Canada affordable coin.
