There are a lot of coins in the Looney Tunes series: at least one Gold, a few 2 oz, Silver, one kilo Silver and a set of 1/2 oz Silvers..

One of the Warner Brothers, Jack, was born in Canada. Jack moved to the US when he was a young boy. The same way Superman was linked to Canada because co-creator Joe Shuster was born in Canada.

While the Warner Brothers did not exactly create the Looney Tunes, they were responsible for the production and distribution of the cartoons. And of course Warner Brothers owns the right to the Looney Tunes.

BTW, Warner Brothers also owned the rights to DC Comics and the rights to Superman. Perhaps its not a coincidence that both Superman and Looney Tunes are owned by the same company, Warner Entertainment, and both will have coins issued. Maybe the company has a deal with the RCM?

Not necessary, not easy to predict.
Seeing the path of Disney coins, I in doubt, but - the design plays role too, while traditional Proof coins in Disney series had short time great success, the colorized, released all together weren't attractive at all.

Design, mintage, special package....imo, more chances have gold coins and set (if any).

The Looney Toons as well as 2015 Superman could be purchased for "free" the following way:

PM next release contains the next "Star Trek" coin set (might be again Transporter or something else) ,
load some of these sets from:
Perth Mint website
Melbournemint
Direct Coin
Downies
as well as Talisman, The Coin Shoppe, CA

try to resell them all (be quick to be first), so the premium will be good enough to cover your Superman or Looney Toons coins.

Please be aware, that the risk and the effort involved.

Oh no, Northerncoins
I will not do this.

One of the reasons - just have no budget for "load".
But anyway people will do this way....and you know, there is also educative part for new people - to know where get info, to get familiar with online dealers, to distinguish between just pop art coins and pop art coins plus plastic toys.
And.....for some this is the way to earn the money and to live....

How much is the Gold Looney Tunes coin and what is the mintage? And what does it look like? Who is on the coin?

Bugs Bunny would be a sure hit. Elmer Fudd not so hot.
