Reverse shows raised spot then irregular notch
running S to N passed the E in One to edge of rim.
Obv looks like a high shot :) have another later lincoln
with a shot to the hair. Poor guy, like one was not enough

Someone poked the coin with something hard and sharp. This is not an error, it's damage.

Thank's again

Could you explain the raised Cud at the bottom ?
Weird, the groove follows like a river from that point on.
deep with smooth edges. Wish I had a better close up scan of it.

I am assuming you mean the raised area on the reverse just opposite the hole on the obverse. Simple...that's where the metal from the punch on the other side went.

The groove to which you refer is a scrrape, probably a result of a part of the tooling issue.

Photographs are too costly to bother for items valued at less than $10. If you knew the time and trouble it takes to put any photos on the site, you'd understand.

But thanks for the comments.
