1926 Lincoln Rev. Error ?

I saw a lincoln with the same error only
it was on the upper obv. and a lot newer coin
than this.

Looks like normal coin wear to me, but there's tons of better cent people around here.

The missing lettering.
That's why I found it odd that no wear on rim or anywhere else.
Mr copper showed one on his site (later year) on the obv.
Near the top right side. That's why I wrote. I will ck. on it and tell you which coin it was. On both coins the fields on the error
showed the same pattern.

It's not an error, it's a simple weak strike. That's common on many years' coins.
