In hand this feels rather like the centre of a cup coin that has been flattened.

18mm 0.85g very thin.

Don't know which is back, front, up or down. Any ideas please?

Very thin, that let's suspect that it is a silver (potentially low grade) coin.
Some sort of denar or penny perhaps.
Some cleaning, especially on the side of the second picture might reveal more detail.

I agree.
The first photo looks similar to a Hungarian 'Dinar' of Sigismund c.1430

More D.W. and a touch of the 'silver' brush might help.
