I am looking for a better way to store my collection of 20 for 20 and 50 for 50 coins. Currently I have them upright in a shoebox but last time I went to open the lid I noticed that all the cardboard holders had become bent a little bit. Furthermore for the ones that I had bought 3 of the mint shipped them all in one folder and then I removed the other 2 coins and placed them in their separate folders. Because they are being stored upright I think the coins are slipping since they are now almost at the bottom of the cardboard (I put them right in the middle when I first got them).
So my question is: How do you store any 2020 and 50/50 coins that you have with the cardboard folders?

remove them from folder.. place folder into file folder... chuck the coin in the air tight into a tupperware container...
makes for a GREAT display.. I joke.. but I kinda liked them and I kinda don't but I still buy 'em... *shrugs*

I use my only one as a ball marker when I play golf. Pretty shiny in the sun - nice display.

Thanks for the link. Those boxes are a good idea but seems quite costly for a series that probably won't appreciate much. I was hoping to find some way to store them without taking them out of that plastic "bubble" package they come in and keeping the cardboard holder at the same time.

You can remove them from the plastic flip without breaking the sticker, just go slowly. Here's what I did with mine, their on the bottom shelf:

Thanks AgCoinAu. I really do enjoy looking at it from time to time, especially during this time of the year!

Wow that does look very nice legouge! I may just have to take my 20 for 20 coins out of that plastic bubble. I don't have a display type cabinet but I might be able to find a place for them if I got some of those holders. Where do you get those stands from?

Legouge: I would say a lifetime dream/goal of mine is that I would have a "coin room" and within it a display case like yours which I would occasionally change over to keep things interesting... right now the current house I live in there just isn't the room or privacy to do so.. but eventually...

Thanks for the link legouge. Price per unit seems reasonable but I don't think I will be able to put 80 to use for quite a long time and I don't see that they sell in any smaller quantities. I was at my local coin store today and realised after I had left that they have most of their display coins on those easels. I will have to remember next time I am in there to check and see if they sell them also.

If you want to not remove the coins from the holders, stack them in a way such that folders are reversed at every layer. This maximizes use of space and will probably reduce bends.
