Trying to fill up my Lincoln Memorial cent fans co album from all CRH and pocket change.

I think I found some 1960 small dates, but would like your opinions...

Small dates confused me since they look the same to me... are these small dates?

They are both Small Dates.

Maybe these pictures will help a little.
Notice the position of the "9", one is higher than the other.
Also see how differently the "6" is shaped.

Yes both of them are small dates. the inside diameter is smaller on the small dates than
on the large dates.

fans co album

I found it odd that all the Dansco fans didn't jump all over that one.
Nice going with those photos, Nickel Guy. Photos like that really help people. And your explanation helps too.

I applaud your efforts. I'm doing the exact same thing...except 1909-2009.

Good luck & Happy hunting!

One of the reasons the series is so popular! Challenging but a lot of fun....and you can find a lot of coins in circ.

You've already got the 2nd toughest Memorial to find in circulation! Toughest would be the 1970S small date.

It's hard, but after avout 6 boxes I was able to do it... Including the 70-S varieties (I found them with maybe 20-30 wheat cents, most of them early, so I'mthinking that someone turned in their old collection)

Good luck, and nice work finding those small dates
