I was wondering if anyone knew what commemorative or commemoratives the U.S. Mint is planning on putting out next year?

I don't remember reading about any new commemoratives for 2008.

Bald Eagle Recovery coin set. http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi...l486.108.pdf One half eagle, one silver dollar and clad 50 cent.

The NASA one gold and nine silver bill is still in the congress. If it passes, this set will be an expensive set (1 OZ gold + nine 1 oz silver).

I can't say, that I'm interested in any of them. Thanks to congress, it sounds like its going to be a boring year for U.S. commemoratives.

It sure does sound like a boring year for commems. I can't say that I care all that much. I never have been one to try and get everything the mint puts out. It's just too much and what they say they are going to do and what they actually do are too often different. Oh well, guess I'll just have to get back to my Barber quarters...
