Hello, I am looking for a storage box to hold my collection of GSA Morgans and brown Ikes. Can anyone please chime in with what they use and/or recommend? I don't want to make my own and it should be plastic with a snap on lid or the chipboard boxes with a cover.

thank you

You want a place to store your Morgans? What about just using an Eagle tube? Or am I confused here?

Stacker82 GSA Morgans and brown box Ikes come in hard plastic holders stored inside a small cardboard box. I think the OP is wanting something to store the whole package.

I don't have an answer but maybe someone here will have a solution.

How do the holders compare to mint proof sets? Maybe you can get a box designed for mint and proof sets and put the holders sideways?

Yes, I meant the coin in the GSA plastic holder with the original boxes. The brown Ikes are roughly 8" x 6". The holders are bigger than the mint proof sets, but not as thick, maybe 3/8" to 1/4" thick. I am looking at a men's plastic shoe box from "The Container Store", but it might be a little too tight because of the radius corners on the inside.

An ex metal beauty case, tool case or camera case would be fine, with styrofoam packing to stop the contents from moving around.
I bought two such cases on separate occasions for $2 each from church jumble sales.

The cases are small enough to be hidden a common looking corrugated cardboard box behind other junk stored in a clothing cupboard.

Maybe something like this http://www.brooklyngallery.com/cgi-...key=0175-336

Inside dimensions 9 15/16" length x 6 3/4" wide x 3 9/16" high

Food storage containers might be another option.
