All I can see is a potential die chip in the MM. It's definitely not a D/S. beginning in 1990 Mint mark's are added to the dies & not hand punched thus eliminating that type of error RPM.It's worth 5 cents

I have the same coin..and it does look as though the D is over something..so pretty much an odd baller?

Also the mint in Denver was creating there own dies then, co it wouldn't have a different mint mark. TheSan Francisco mint were only making proof coins then. So no transfer of dies from mint to mint were happening any longer. Just our brains trying to make sense of what we are seeing.
