I will be exhibiting at Coinfest and would love to say Hi.

On the matter of CC, many dealers, myself included can accept CC's with appropriate ID, but checks are much preferred.

Do not expect to be able to purchase bullion with CC's.

Just finished looking at all the dealers I could find online and only about 6 are in my financial ballpark. I'm thinking of skipping this one.

I'm not planning on shopping either. I'll do some shopping at WESPNEX coin show the previous week. But looking forward to CoinFest since its my first large show.

Hi Ken, saw your recent post.... please rest assured that there are many dealers with coins that are inexpensive.... certainly you will have a great time there! I look forward to seeing your post after the show saying how much you enjoyed the show! best, Jon

Note to forum Mom/Dad: Would there be any way to add an ignore feature so I could skip the posts of people who are only here to endlessly promote themselves or their events?

Thanks.

(P.S. To TheCoinfest: you would be the only name on my ignore list. Enough already. We get it.)

Sorry you feel that way, we put our heart and soul into Coinfest to help collectors and have a nice show.... when I see someone thinking that the coins they collect would not be there, I respond.... yes I am promoting the show....but the show is all for the collectors... sorry if you dont know where we are coming from... its a lot of work and we want to make sure people know the true facts....

gnome-I'm sure TheCoinfest works hard, but responding to posts on a website is really a waste of a promoter's valuable time. One post about it is really all that is necessary. If someone doesn't like the show, or doesn't want to come, then a promoter's 'facts' are what we would call 'spin.' Maybe that's his job, but I feel it would be better if he bought an ad on the website rather than responding to posts that raise criticisms, whether he finds them legit or not.

No shows are 'all for the collectors,' otherwise dealers wouldn't show up. If I, as a member of the CCF family were working on a show, I would try to make my posts a bit less like cheerleading and a bit more understanding that no show is perfect, and there might be reasons not to attend or to attend another show.
