sorry for the horrible quality pictures but the front of the coin where the woman is it says "omnes ex eadem terra natis sumus" "imperium mundi". and in the back it says "pro prosperitate mundi" "aureus magnus".

the back is the same as this one...

Here's what I've been able to find:

GERMANY (Werner Graul). Private gold issue. Dated 1959. Nude woman above globe / Six-rayed star. The Aureus Magnus ducats were intended as patterns for a proposed international currency and are forerunners of the Euro.

Yours seems to be a 5 ducat...

yea the coin says 1960 on it, I'm not sure if its a very rare coin, but like I said its very hard to find info on it. and it also says 980 which I was told was a measurement of gold like 98% gold almost 24K.

Very nice! I have a 1 Ducat I found in the bottom of a bag of wheaties. Your's is a half ounce of gold. and it is 98% as you say

In Proof condition the coin has a book price of $320 so it's basically worth melt value. There are no known mintage records of these that I know of

They're listed in the Krause "Unusual World Coins" catalogue, and on the NumisMaster site.

Issued basically as private bullion "coins", that's effectively all they're worth - bullion. The weight should be 17.25 grams. Most "aureus magnus" (gold) and "argenteus" (silver) coins in this series are dated between 1960 and 1968; mintage is unknown and unknowable; apparently the original medallist's son still has all the dies and continues to issue restrikes on demand. Under those circumstances, none of them can be considered "rare" - just "obscure".
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
