Hi Blcoinnut,
I think your coin probably graded EF40 for detail, but the surfaces look a bit odd. It looks like there is some corrosion present which would qualify as "environmental damage".
For comparison, here is my 1853-O half which was graded EF40 by PCI (in an older, green-label slab). Your coin has similar detail. I tried to get NGC to cross over my coin but they rejected it as "cleaned". I suspect you would likewise have problems getting NGC or PCGS to slab your coin.

blcoinnut,

This has the details for an EF-40, but the flecks of corrosion Jaobler mentioned and the appearance of cleaning marks (most obvious on the reverse over the rays and under the eagle's wings) would body-bag it if sent to PCGS or NGC. ANACS would probably give it a net VF. Still it's a beautiful example of this one-year type (arrows and rays). Let me know if you plan to list it in member sales or auctions.

It has corrosion - I would rather have it than the latter with its 'irregularities'. I think it
has a lovely appearance :D

No, I am not selling her guys, cant sell any of my coins.
Ya know,in reading all the posts about cleaning, corrosion, lines on rays and other places.
Its funny that I don't notice this under magnification
The coin is gun metal gray, not dark, nice even toning.
I never saw these problems until I "scanned" them,
Do you think the scan brought out these problems, can it be corrected with some scan settings?
Just wondering

a scanner or photograph can make problems look more severe but one thing they can't do is make the problems appear to be there unless they are actually there. I have taken photos of my coins before and saw things I never knew was there also and I sometimes even use this method to check my coins for things that I missed
